Fish Report for 12-10-2021
The best action has been on the downstream side of control gates
12-10-2021
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Striper fishing was good for aqueduct anglers and a combination of lures and bait did the trick. The best action has been on the downstream side of control gates and along the inside bends of the aqueduct. Bait anglers used jumbo live minnows, bloodworms, and cut sardines to get bite, and lure anglers fooled them with small swimbaits, jerkbaits, and tube baits. Lure anglers reported better action at first light. Catfish have been consistent too, and anglers used chicken liver, garlic nightcrawlers, and cut baits to get bent. Bass were a little slower last week with anglers reporting Senkos and drop shot as the best way to fool some largemouth.
