Consistent is the best word to describe aqueduct fishing

Chad Burton and Chris Borden

Consistent is the best word to describe aqueduct fishing. For several months anglers have regularly reported catching striper, catfish, and bass using a variety of techniques. Striper anglers have done well using Flukes, small swimbaits, tube baits, jerkbaits, and topwater lures. Most of the action has occurred in the mornings on the downstream side of control gates. Bait anglers reported doing well while using jumbo live minnows, bloodworms, lugworms, and cut baits. The bait bite has been consistent throughout the day and into the night. After dark catfish anglers reported hooking up with some quality whisker fish using dip bait, chicken liver, and cut baits. Bass anglers used Senkos, drop shot, and Texas rigged plastic worms to fool bass in eddies and slower moving water. Bass fishing has been better on days with lower water flows.
