Fish Report for 11-26-2021
annual Buena Vista Trout Derby provided excellent family fishing
11-26-2021
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
The annual Buena Vista Trout Derby provided excellent family fishing for all who attended. Many anglers reported easy limits using a long leader Carolina rig with dough bait and garlic scent. Mousetails, minijigs, and lures also scored some beautiful trout. There were a lot of lightening trout caught, and many of the fish weighed up to five pounds. Bass fishing was slow last week, but that’s probably because most anglers were focused on trout. Recently, anglers reported catching bass while using drop shot and Senkos. Crappie anglers have been getting bite while using small live minnows and minijigs, and catfish ate dip bait, sardines, and chicken liver.
