Fish Report for 12-17-2021

Recent rains brought the lake level up considerably

The lake held near 9 percent of capacity for most of the week, but recent rains brought the lake level up considerably. Bass anglers reported a slower bite with most of the action in deeper water. Drop shot, darter heads, and jigs all worked for bites in 15 to 30 feet of water. Deeper bass were targeted with vertical spoons. The white bass went for spoons and spinners fished vertically or trolled. Catfish anglers used mackerel, sardines, and dip bait to get bite, and crappie bite minijigs near deeper structure.
