We've Been Seeing Fair Fishing Out on Crane
5-28-2021
Fly and Field Outfitters
We’ve been seeing fair fishing out on Crane. It hasn’t been insanely productive but that can change on any given day. The fish may be starting to group up into the channels a bit more. Balanced leeches are always a good bet. Chironomids are still fishing quite well. It’ll be awhile until we see significant emergences of callibaetis but trying out one of the nymphs can’t hurt. When you get tired of looking at an indicator swap to stripping flies. Leeches and damsels will be great searching patterns. Good luck out there, the upcoming warm weather might be what jumpstarts the fishing.
