Fish Report for 3-8-2024
20 lb. Striped Bass
3-8-2024
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
A 20-pound striped bass was landed using cut sardines last week. Congratulations! Cut sardines, anchovies, bloodworms, lugworms, nightcrawlers, and jumbo live minnows give every angler the opportunity to land a personal best striper. It’s time to get out there and show us yours. Striped bass also fell for tube baits, Flukes on a jig head, and small swimbaits last week. Catfish anglers used bait rigs with Triple S dip bait, cut baits, and chicken liver for decent results, and bass anglers reported improved fishing. One lucky angler landed a seven plus pound largemouth. Bass fell for finesse baits, jigs, Senkos, and jerkbaits.
