Fish Report for 1-19-2024
Buena Vista Lakes Report
1-19-2024
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
We’re still receiving catch reports from trout anglers using dough baits, Get Bent Baits, Mouse Tails, and lures. Trollers used spinners tipped with redworms, Flicker Shad, and spoons for a better grade of fish. Bass anglers reported a fair bite on finesse baits, Senkos, and crankbaits. Catfishing produced smaller grade whisker fish which fell for chicken liver and dip bait. Crappie anglers used their electronics to locate schools of crappie near the islands and over submerged structure spots. The panfish readily took minijigs and small swimbaits in bright colors and baitfish colors. Several anglers reported crappie limits.
