Here at River Walk the DFWL have a scheduled trout stocking for next week. It’s been a few weeks since the last plant by the DFWL. There are still holdover trout being caught on Powerbait, trout jigs and spinners. The bass action is fair with finessed soft plastics. Bluegill are fair on worms.

Pyramid Lake, CA: The trout bite has slowed as the rainbows spread throughout the lake
Lake Isabella: The bass bite improved last week for numbers
Kern River: Trout fishing in the Upper Kern has been excellent throughout the 20-mile stretch
Lake Kaweah: The lake rose to 12 percent of capacity, and anglers reported fair fishing
Lake Success: Success Lake held near 15 percent of capacity, and fishing has been fair
