Fish Report for 1-5-2024
The rainbows kept anglers busy over the last few weeks with trout up to ten pounds hitting the scales
1-5-2024
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
The rainbows kept anglers busy over the last few weeks with trout up to ten pounds hitting the scales. Green Powerbait, Hook Up baits, Giro lures, Get Bent minijigs, and various spinners and spoons did the trick. Trolling also produced good numbers of trout with Flicker Shad and spoons leading the way. Bass anglers used finesse techniques and deep diving crankbaits to land fish near the islands and reeds. Catfish ate dip bait and chicken liver on the long soak, and crappie readily took shad colored minijigs and small live minnows over submerged structure.
