The lake rose slightly to 58 percent of its capacity, and fishing has been decent. Bass anglers worked deeper in the water column for bites. Spotted bass took drop shot, darter heads, and spoons as deep as 40 feet. Anglers reported plenty of smaller fish with the occasional largemouth over three pounds. Catfish anglers got bit using chicken liver, dip bait, and cut mackerel. Crappie anglers used their electronics to locate tight schools of fish over submerged structure. The panfish fell for minijigs and small swimbaits.
