Striper anglers had another good week of fishing in the aqueduct

Striper anglers had another good week of fishing in the aqueduct with anglers reporting limits. The best action was for bait anglers soaking cut sardines, anchovies, and Jumbo live minnows. However, the lure anglers got in on the action too. Flukes, tube baits, and jerkbaits all worked for bites after check gates during low light conditions. Catfish anglers had another good week, and they reported plenty of fish-eating chicken liver and dip bait. Bass anglers used drop shot, Texas rigs, and Senkos to fool bass in slower moving water. David Childress, of Copes, has been clobbering the bass with topwater lures lately. Stop by and ask him about it.
