Puerto Morelos Fish Report- Marina El Cid, Cancun to Cozumel Area

The action from Puerto Morelos spiraled upward this past week and
reflected some nice catches for the anglers that included a blue
marlin and a couple of late season sailfish. The overall catch
report for 18 days fished reflected a wide variety that included 1
blue marlin, 2 sailfish, 1 wahoo, 1 dorado, 6 triggerfsih, 1 bonito,
7 red snapper, 29 king mackerel and 36 Atlantic barracudas.
PM Climate: Mostly cloudy days with temps from 74 nights to 96
daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: Stable and clean water, temps at 85 degrees
throughout the area, and light easterly breezes.
Best Bait/Lure: The ballyhoo continue to be the most productive of
baits for this area.
Best Fishing Area: Almost all of the fish were taken within 9 miles
of the Marina.
