You just gotta love the fish reports from Captain Temo Verboonen.
For the most part, they are short, to the point and usually exciting
to the point where I have to call to see why he gets so excited and
gather a few more adjectives for our report. Here\'s his report for
the week: \"Fish all over deep sea and in shore. Very productive
fishing days. Sailfish still close, 4 miles from the beach. Couple
of big wahoos this week. Dorados are plenty in 10-15 lb. range.
Roosterfish bite live bait and pencil poppers and good action. Ocean
is calm with sunny and warm days. It\'s really a great fish report
and covers a great deal of information for the past week and sounds
like a place I should be....
IZ Climate: Partly sunny days with temps from 74 nights to 94
daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: Warm water in close & out to the thousand fathom
curve at 90 degrees and falling slightly to 88.5 beyond the curve.
Mostly calm.
Best Lure/Bait: Rigged baits for the sailfish, live bait and red-
white pencil poppers for the roosterfish, dorado biting good on the
live bait drop backs and the smaller tuna feathers.
Bait Supply: Plenty of bait in the Bay.
