Ixtapa- Zihuatanejo Fish Report- The Independent Sportfishing Fleet

You just gotta love the fish reports from Captain Temo Verboonen. For the most part, they are short, to the point and usually exciting to the point where I have to call to see why he gets so excited and gather a few more adjectives for our report. Here\'s his report for the week: \"Fish all over deep sea and in shore. Very productive fishing days. Sailfish still close, 4 miles from the beach. Couple of big wahoos this week. Dorados are plenty in 10-15 lb. range. Roosterfish bite live bait and pencil poppers and good action. Ocean is calm with sunny and warm days. It\'s really a great fish report and covers a great deal of information for the past week and sounds like a place I should be....

IZ Climate: Partly sunny days with temps from 74 nights to 94 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Warm water in close & out to the thousand fathom curve at 90 degrees and falling slightly to 88.5 beyond the curve. Mostly calm.

Best Lure/Bait: Rigged baits for the sailfish, live bait and red- white pencil poppers for the roosterfish, dorado biting good on the live bait drop backs and the smaller tuna feathers.

Bait Supply: Plenty of bait in the Bay.
