Ensenada Fish Report

We have two reports: "El Chino," a local charter out of Ensenada, reported yellowtail (11) at the Punta Banda Bank. And our regular report came in from the "Reel Adventure," landing 4 nice yellows at the north point of Todos Santos Island, yo-yoing with 6X and 7X Salas and Sumos ... heavy lures. The yellowtail are starting to bite closer to the surface with a few still at 200 feet, but others at 80 feet. The water temp is still over 60 degrees and we had lots of reports on the VHF radio during the morning and evening

2-20-2015It is almThe islands are kicking out more yellowtail. The zones to look at are the deepwater rockfish grounds north and east of Pukey Point through the deepwater drop off running through and north of the Middle Grounds, and along the east side of South Island into the flats.
