Ensenada Fish Report

Looks like February is starting out as another good month for yellowtail, as reports came in from both the local fishing charters and the Marina Coral Sport Fishing boats! Yellowtail were reported all around Todos Santos Island at a depth of 200 feet. They are biting on everything -- yo-yoing with all colors of jigs and lures....if you've got it - try it! We were monitoring the VHF radio, and we heard all of the reports from the local charters, reporting birds and bait and then HOOKUPS!
And the whale migration so close to the island has been magnificent! On Thursday and Friday we got our regular report from the Reel Adventure (9) and Papa Loco (3) both with 25-pound class yellowtail; they also had lots of big rock cod and lings; breezy/windy conditions. Another awesome week of fishing! ...Edgar Sanchez, Marina Coral Store
