Latest word has the numbers of yellows thinning out. The fish appear to be on the move to the north. Areas to the south like Cedros and Benitos Islands have very little yellow around right now. Seems the entire bio-mass of fish is 300 miles north of where it should be for this time of year.
It's not a total waste however. The guys are still seeing a few yellows, some big bonito and plenty of lingcod and reds. http://www.fishdope.com/

These areas are between Ensenada and Colonet. All the rock piles and hard bottom areas in 20 fathoms or greater are loaded up with yellowtail.
