Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report

1-9-2015
Gary Graham

The sea life here in Cabo never ceases to amaze us. These amazing sharks generally peak in December and January off of our shores. Pisces Sportfishing Fleet shared Frankie Grant's photo.

Ocean conditions for the week were good in Cabo San Lucas with calm seas on most days on the Pacific side where the majority of the fishing has been. Over on the Cape side, towards the Gordo Banks, the wind has been blowing just about every day.

The marlin fishing continues to be very slow for this time of year. Lots of boats struck out on marlin this week with a few getting one or two and an occasional boat getting three or four, with a few quick feeders popping up, it may not be long before the stripers light up.

Dorado fishing continues to be good with most boats getting at least three and some up to eight per day ... not wide open by any means but still enough to keep people happy.
