It was another family fun fishing week from Puerto Morelos that allowed for a 13 fish mixed bag catch of Caribbean Critters that included both surface and bottom fish and a few in between. The boats reported in for a total of 30 fishing days that reflected 6 sailfish, 4 wahoo, 14 giant barracuda, 2 king mackerel, 8 blackfin tuna, 40 bonito, 1 shark, 8 dorado, 33 triggerfish, 6 soapfish, 4 banana fish, 10 snappers and 13 grouper. While it's been a little warm, a little muggy and even a little sporadic rain, the sea conditions have been just excellent throughout the week with very light tropical surface breezes that enhance the days.

PM Climate: Mostly cloudy days with temps at 75 nights to 88 daytime highs and an off & on chance for thundershowers.

Sea Conditions: Sea temps stable at about 85 degrees with mostly calm seas and light & variable surface breezes from the easterly directions at 5-10 mph.

Best Bait/Lures: The bait of choice continues to be the ever-available surplus of the ballyhoo that are provided freshly caught on a daily basis.
