"We spent our day traveling and fishing our way south," reported Intrepid July 7. "We found many nice kelp paddies along our journey and they were holding a very nice grade of fish for us to enjoy angling for. Young Tyler Talbot, who landed his first ever Bluefin Tuna yesterday, along with several other new Long Range Anglers, continues to be a hot stick catching his share of Yellowtail today. After dinner his good fortune paid off in the form of a new Seeker Fishing Rod donated by Baja Fish Gear. Way to go Tyler! Ed Tschernoscha from Baja Fish Gear along with Bob Douglas also held drawings for another new custom wrapped fishing rod and many more tackle and fishing accessories to be used throughout the trip. We are just on a roll here with this our second day away from the docks and already have had two days of good fishing and we still have seven more days!"
