"After yesterday's float day," said the report from American Angler July 6, "with the entire fleet having good fishing, we were licking our chops and looking forward to a big day. Once we arrived on the grounds, we found it difficult to find cooperative biting fish. We managed a few stops highlighted by 60 to 80-pound fish showing all around the boat. We hooked several and ended up boating nine of these beauties.
Kenji Watanabe, Glenn Kuromi and Tom Camacho landed the first three in today's photo.
We finished up with 25 mixed tuna today; each and every one was hard-earned."
