Royal Polaris heads back to California
9-29-2011
Bill Roecker
"Royal Polaris traveled north today," said the report September 28, "in gorgeous conditions, calm seas and blue skies. We enjoyed a relaxing day of fishing Halibut and Bass along the lee of a desolate yet ruggedly beautiful island. Most of our passengers are still reeling and reminiscing about the past two days of epic fishing. We did catch a few big halibut, some bass, sculpin and sheephead. Tomorrow we're heading home and will run off shore to hopefully pick up some more tuna so wish us luck."
