"We had excellent fishing for yellowtail and yellowfin tuna this morning," allowed the Searcher report for September 28. "We landed 60 yellowfin tuna up to 30 pounds and we released at least 100 yellowtail. The yellows are all in the 18 to 20-pound class. I can't remember releasing that size fish for four hours in a row like that! The fishing was so good you could cast a bait and get a bite all morning long. Wow! We're headed north to get set up to be in the area 150 miles from home on the last day for yellowfin tuna."
