Catfish were the best bet for aqueduct anglers last week

Catfish were the best bet for aqueduct anglers last week with plenty of good-sized whisker fish getting reeled in. SSS Dip Bait, cut baits, and chicken liver all got bit. One angler reported a catfish close to 10 pounds while Carolina rigging fresh shrimp. Striped bass went after topwater walking baits for anglers who were lucky enough to find morning boils. Cut baits, jumbo live minnows, and small white swimbaits took some zebras after check gates. Bass anglers reported good topwater fishing in the mornings and evenings with poppers doing most of the work. Drop shot grubs and Senkos took largemouth in the eddies and slower sections of the aqueduct. Bluegill were reported by anglers using redworms through the outtake grates.
