Fish Report for 9-6-2024
Bass and crappie were the best bets at BV
9-6-2024
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Bass and crappie were the best bets at BV with bass anglers probing heavy cover for bites. Largemouth fell for weedless offerings pitched in or near vegetation. Senkos, Texas rigs, and creature baits all worked for bites. Topwater was another option with one angler stating that topwater frogs worked all day in the thick stuff. Crappie held over rocky structure and brush. Small live minnows and swimbaits did the trick. Catfish anglers reported small whisker fish eating the usual fare.
