Fish Report for 9-6-2024
Better bass continued to come in deeper water and near the submerged trees
9-6-2024
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
The lake dropped to 28 percent of capacity, and bass anglers reported doing well on smaller grade bass. Better bass continued to come in deeper water and near the submerged trees. Finesse baits in brown, green pumpkin, and purple fooled fish in 10 to 20 feet of water near rocky structure. Crankbaits and topwater baits took fish in the mornings and evenings. Catfish were reliable for anglers fishing near the marina with cut baits and dip bait. Crappie anglers used minijigs to score some of the tasty panfish.
