The lake level dropped to 64 percent of capacity and bass anglers reported working for bites. Largemouth took finesse baits in 10 to 25 feet of water with Green Pumpkin, Aaron’s magic, and Margarita Mutilator scoring bites. A few anglers reported catching bass on reaction baits, but soft plastics have definitely been the best way to get bit. Crappie anglers used small live minnows, small swimbaits, and minijigs for some decent action near the marina and over submerged brush. Catfish anglers reported decent fishing while using cut baits, live worms, and dip bait.
