Fish Report for 9-29-2023

The lake fell dramatically to 20 percent of capacity, and fishing has been fair

The lake fell dramatically to 20 percent of capacity, and fishing has been fair. Anglers reported finding a reliable pattern to be difficult, and that makes sense with the rapidly falling water levels. Senkos, drop shot and other finesses techniques have been the most reliable way to put a few fish in the boat. Some topwater action was also reported. Catfish anglers used cut baits and dip bait to get it done, and we received no reports from crappie anglers.
