Cut baits, live worms, and jumbo live shiners all worked for bites after check gates. Striped bass also took jerkbaits, topwater lures, and Rattletraps early and late in the day. Catfish anglers did well while using chicken liver, dip bait, fresh shrimp, and cut baits. Chicken liver also fooled a few line sides. Bass anglers reported fair fishing with drop shot 4” worms in green pumpkin and baitfish fooling a few largemouth. Some topwater bass were also reported in the slower moving water before and after check gates.
