The lake fell to 67 percent of capacity, and bass anglers reported fair to decent fishing

The lake fell to 67 percent of capacity, and bass anglers reported fair to decent fishing. Spotted bass fell for finesse baits like drop shot Roboworms, darter head grubs, and Ned rigs in 10 to 20 feet of water. As usual green pumpkin, browns, and baitfish were good color choices. Senkos fooled fish up closer to shore, and some topwater bass were also reported. White bass fell for topwater baits as well, but white in-line spinners, and spoons were a more effective tactic for the white bass keyed in on shad schools. Catfish anglers used cut mackerel, dip bait and garlic nightcrawlers, and crappie fell for minijigs over submerged structure.
