Fish Report for 9-16-2022
The Bass action has been improving
9-16-2022
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Isabella is down to 7 percent capacity and water temps are in the low 80’s. The Bass action has been improving here with fish coming in 8 to 12-feet of water at Engineers Point and Pine Point on deep diving crankbaits, Texas rigged ribbon tails in purple or motor oil black. There's also been fish coming on the north fork side of Rocky Point where it's relatively shallow by dredging the mud with big crankbaits in shad or bluegill color. There’s been decent crappie action in 15 to 20-feet of water with crappie jigs, live shiners, and underspins. The Catfish bite really improved with stringers of whiskerfish coming on dip baits, mackerel, and chicken liver.
