Fish Report for 9-9-2022
Fishing has been fair at BV
9-9-2022
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Fishing has been fair at BV, but local anglers who frequent the lake are catching fish. Zack, from Cope’s, reported good largemouth fishing from his Kayak. The bass are tight to cover, and anglers need to use techniques which get their baits into the weeds and cattails. Flipping, punching and topwater have been the way to go, but Senkos and drop shot also scored bites. Catfish anglers reported catching plenty of smaller fish on dip bait, cut sardines, and chicken liver. Crappie and bluegill ate small live minnows and live worms under a bob
