Fish Report for 9-2-2022

Pyramid has been holding near full pool

Pyramid has been holding near full pool with water temperatures between 78 and 82 degrees. Anglers reported fair fishing last week with the pea-soup water clarity making it difficult to target structure. Bass and striper boiled early, and they fell for topwater, small swimbaits, and jerkbaits. That bite ends around 8 am, and bass anglers have been using weedless plastics to pull bass from the weed beds for the remainder of the day. Senkos worked along bluff walls. Striper ate cut mackerel, sardines, and lugworms near Yellowbar and Serrano. They also fell for trolled umbrella rigs and small swimbaits. Catfish have been very active, and anglers can get in on that bite by using a Carolina rig with dip bait, cut baits, and chicken liver.
