Naci held at 20 percent of capacity, and fishing was good

Naci held at 20 percent of capacity, and fishing was good. Topwater has still been the technique of choice, and anglers used Whopper Ploppers, buzzbaits, and poppers for plenty of early morning action. Small swimbaits, crankbaits, and underspins also fooled spotted bass. Anglers went deep with finesse baits and spoons after the day warmed up. Drop shot, darter head grubs, and Ned rigs all scored bites. White bass anglers trolled in-line spinners, Kastmasters, and small swimbaits for bites. The white bass have also been boiling on shad, and topwater lures can fill the boat during the boils. Catfish ate cut mackerel, dip bait, and chicken liver.
