Fish Report for 7-8-2022

Main lake points have been a reliable area to target spotted bass

The lake dropped 6 percent to 41 percent of capacity last week, and the dropping water level made for tougher fishing. Bass anglers used topwater, and crankbaits as the sun came up, and they switched to finesse baits for the remainder of the day. Main lake points have been a reliable area to target spotted bass. The crappie bite remained decent near Horse Creek on minijigs and small live minnows, and catfish anglers soaked dip bait and cut baits for bites after recreational boaters called it a day.
