Fish Report for 6-24-2022

Bass fishing has been good

6-24-2022
Chad Burton and Chris Borden

The water level at Succus Lake held near 37 percent of capacity, and bass fishing has been good. Anglers used drop shot, creature baits, and Carolina rigged finesse worms to fool fish in 10 to 20 feet of water. Topwater anglers scored bites early and late in the day, and shad patterned crankbaits worked well when anglers found bass chasing shad. Crappie fell for small live minnows and minijigs near the marina, and catfish anglers hooked up with cut baits and dip bait.
