Calm passage here; a little rain, a lot of sunshine, and smooth seas. Anglers below, less any occasion to fret or stress, enjoyed the ride sharing yarns while preparing tackle to fish tomorrow and beyond. For us right now (all of us on this round of voyages) the road ahead promises change. A spate of grumpy weather is forecast to greet us in our first destination, and is likely to stick around for a least a couple of days. We're going to have to earn them the old fashioned way this time - grit and determination will underpin success on the front end of this effort.

For now though we enjoy the tender side of this tempestuous behemoth. Flat calm seas are lulling one and all into that mesmeric state known only to mariners. We'll take it; whenever the gift is proffered.

No place on earth, no fishing destination, can compare in production, quality, and consistent opportunities to catch significant quantities of giant yellowfin tuna and wahoo. All presently on board are among the blessed few; blessed for the opportunity, resources, and fortitude to venture forth on a long range outing...... Read More
