Today we fished the coast and found some exciting fishing for yellowtail.The fish put on a frenzied surface show biting the surface iron very well. In the late afternoon we headed up the line and will have about an hour to fish tomorrow. We went looking for action today and action we found. We started off with a two hour bite on 18 - 25 pound yellows. Anglers had their choice of bait or jigs, and were on almost instantly. I have no pictures of these yellows as it was an all hands affair getting them onboard and chilled for the ride back to San Diego.
