We went looking for action today and action we found. We started off with a two hour bite on 18 - 25 pound yellows. Anglers had their choice of bait or jigs, and were on almost instantly. I have no pictures of these yellows as it was an all hands affair getting them onboard and chilled for the ride back to San Diego.

We then switched modes and concentrated on Wahoo for the rest of the day. We found a couple of schools of them and managed to put some of the speedsters onboard. We also had the bonus of some 20-30 # tuna mixed in.

Our weather continues to be excellent and is forecast to remain the same as we work our way closer to home. Our photo today shows Rich Fox with his first ever Wahoo.

With just a couple of flurries for 4 - 5 going, we put together a respectable day on this beautiful grade tuna. With flat calm...... Read More
