Fish Report for 11-29-2008
We departed today on our annual Let's Talk Hookup ten day voyage with the man Pete Gray himself joining us as well as another fantastic group of well prepared anglers. Needless to say there were many dreams of giant trophy yellowfin tuna in recent days leading up to this voyage so the strategy of targeting big fish somewhere along the way is near set in stone. Taking nothing for granted however, we will be working our way south with no intention of passing by anything worthy. As is always the case, timing is everything. With that in mind, we are certainly hopeful that the all important luck factor will swing in our favor at some point during this voyage. They say that lightning never strikes the same place twice. But yellowfin tuna never stop moving so that should allay any doubts. In the meantime our bait is perfect and we are ready to get down to business with the first full day tomorrow dedicated to rigging and tackle in preparation for our fishing beyond. Reports will continue as the voyage progresses.

At the time, Capt. Toussaint informed me that he chose the lower weight of 378 to call on board to...... Read More
