Fish Report for 11-26-2008
Congratulations to angler Dennis Williams with his potential all tackle 381.1# yellowfin tuna!!! Captain Randy Toussaint joins Dennis in the second photo that features the monster "cow' hanging from the on board scale showing the exact weight of the fish upon arrival in San Diego, as has been the standard for our on board weights over the past four years. At the time, Capt. Toussaint informed me that he chose the lower weight of 378 to call on board to be certain that the fish did not crush expectations upon arrival. Once again, Capt. Toussaint's shrewd judgment proved sound rewarding all of us with a welcome surprise at the top of the dock. Congratulations again to Dennis and the entire Royal Star crew who all deserve immense credit for this outstanding accomplishment! With much information, and many thoughts to share, look for reports and plenty more photos to enjoy during the next few days and upcoming week.

We broke up the ride this morning with a quick stop on the Ridge for 1 wahoo and 30 mixed tuna and yellows. The water conditions are still prime on all the shallows so I wouldn't be surprised to see some more good wahoo scores on the upcoming trips. We are presently enjoying a nice ride up the line and hope to be in by 0900 on the 26th. Tim will depart again Saturday on our annual Let's Talk Hookup 10-day,...... Read More
