Ensenada Fish Report

2-6-2015
Gary Graham

The Reel Adventure went out to Todos Santos Island and the Banda Bank on Friday and Saturday and came back with 12- to 25-pound yellowtail plus rock fish and bonito. Despite a little wind and rain, it was a great trip for Capt. Wes Price and his grandsons, Ryan and Shane Lancer!

The yellowtail action is very good. The SW end of Todos Santos Island in 160 feet is and has been a steady producer of 15- to 30-pound class yellows. Yo-Yo iron is accounting for nearly all the fish caught right now but if you have sardines or mackerel those are working as well.

Inside the Bay there are spots of large bonito roaming around and you might also find a few barracuda.

The San Miguel Reef is kicking out some nice reds and lingcod along with some yellowtail.http://www.fishdope.com/
