Skipper Danny Nichols returned Intrepid and her 14 anglers to Point Loma Sportfishing August 27. It was the boat's first multi-day trip.

Second skipper Kevin Cleary said these anglers "were just blown away by how low the noise level is. It's so quiet out there; I'm still impressed by it."

"I've been fishing for 30 years," said angler Brian Weinstock of Beverly Hills, "and there's nothing like this boat. The stabilizers are unbelievable.

"We went to Guadalupe and there was nothin' there, it was dead. Then we went to Cedros and we had a great yellowtail bite. We chased albacore for a couple days and we finally got a bite yesterday."

Ira Goldberg, of Beverly Hills said the boat was "phenomenal, way beyond what we expected. We ended the trip 50 miles due west of Point Loma, where the albacore bit just before sundown last night."

The boat's anglers did not participate in a jackpot.
