PROVO RIVER, LOWER: (December 11) Angling pressure is light with the cold temperatures. Fly anglers report success with various small nymphs and egg-imitation patterns. Most anglers are focusing on the area below Deer Creek Dam and down to the Olmstead Diversion Dam. Remember to stay out of spawning gravel areas. Bait is allowed in some stretches of the river. Please read the Utah Fishing Guidebook for details and special regulations.

Green River: Green River below Flaming Gorge Dam reports good fishing for Rainbows & Browns
• Pelican Lake is iced over, but the ice is cloudy
Starvation Reservoir: No ice reported on Starvation Reservoir yet
Logan River: Ice is starting to accumulate on Logan River, whitefish fishing is good
Ogden River: Not many anglers on the Ogden as the Browns have stopped spawning
Rockport Reservoir: There are five or more inches of ice covering Rockport Reservoir.
Weber River: Ice has accumulated throughout the Weber River corridor, so use extreme caution.
Middle Provo: Good fishing on the Middle Provo
Strawberry Reservoir: Most bays at Strawberry are iced over & have 2–3 inches of ice. There's still a lot of open water.
Utah Lake: There's a layer of thin ice on Utah Lake, but please wait for thicker ice.
Fishing is fair to good at the Gorge. If one species isn't working, move to the next
