ROCKPORT RESERVOIR: (December 12) Fishing is best in the morning, and tapers off by about mid-morning. Anglers are using traditional ice fishing baits, but small ice flies tipped with wax worms seem to work best. The boat ramp is plowed to allow easy access to the ice. Off-highway vehicles are allowed on the ice, but must be launched from the boat ramp. The entrance fee is $7 per car. Don't miss the Wasatch Back Quad-fishalon. For details, visit the Rockport State Park website.
