Castaic Lake has been very good for both Striper and Bass fishing

Castaic Lake Staff
The Striper bite is still very good from the shoreline to the right of the launch ramp. The best time is when the gates open at 6:45 AM. The best lures have been spooks, Lucky Craft lures and flukes. The dam, Kong Island, C Point & Coach Cove have also been a good locations for Bass & Striper bites at Castaic.

Small bait fish have made an appearance under the docks this past week. Hopefully we will see some boils in the very near future. The Stripers have been hitting deep by Kong Island and the entrance to Necktie Canyon. Largemouth have been hitting crank baits and worms from the shoreline....... Read More
