Bass & Stripers are the feature at Castaic Lake
9-23-2013
Castaic Lake Staff
Boils are still going off at Castaic Lake. Upper Lake, the Marina, Hawks Nest, Elizabeth Canyon and Necktie Canyon have been the killer spots. The best approach is to net shad and use the live shad as bait.
If you like to use lures, Largemouth & Stripers have both been biting flukes, luckycraft and spooks. Early morning is the best time to fish but there is definitely action throughout the day.
