The Trout bite at San Pablo Reservoir is still good

San Pablo Reservoir
B>Lake Hours: 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Boats must be off the Water: 6:30 PM
Boat Launch Area is Open: 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available
Last Plant: 1,080 lbs. of catchable trout and 120 lbs. of Trophy Trout from Mt. Lassen on May 14th. Water Temperature: 67 degrees
The trout bite is good and are being caught near the shoreline at the Main Recreation Area and across the other side at Sandy Point, Graveyard Cove in Scow Canyon and from the shoreline near the boat launch area as well. Rainbow, Chartreuse and Spring Green PowerBait have been working well. As have Mice Tails, Broken-Back Fire-Tiger and Panther Martins have been working for those who like to troll.
The Bass bite has picked up for people using drop-shots. Catfish have started biting on nightcrawlers, Anchovies and Shrimp at the boat launch shoreline area. The Crappie bite has been good on jigs and Crappie nibbles at the Boat launch area or the Oaks.
