Fishing has been good and getting better t San Pablo Reservoir

San Pablo Reservoir
Lake Hours: 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM
Boats must be off the Water: 6:30 PM
Boat Launch Area is Open: 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available
Last Plant: 1,080 lbs. of catchable trout and 120 lbs. of Trophy Trout from Mt. Lassen on May 7th. The DFG planted 2,000 lbs. of Trout on May 9th. Water Temperature: 67 degrees
The trout bite remains good and are being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Areaand across the other side at Sandy Point, Gravyard Cove in Scow Canyon and also from the shoreline at the Boat Launch area. The bait to use for the Trout is either Rainbow, Chartreuse or spring Green PowerBait. Or the best lures from trolling, are Mice-Tails, Broken-Back Fire-Tiger, Panther Martins or Clowns seem to be working the best.
People have picked up Bass using Drop Shots and Top Water Lures as well as Chatter Baits. On the other hand Catfish have been biting nightcrawlers, Anchovies ans Shrimp t the Boat Launch Shoreline area. Crappie are also biting on Jigs & Crappie nibbles at the Boat Launch area and at the Oaks as well.
