San Pablo Reservoir hqas been a great place to go fishing lately

San Pablo Reservoir
Lake Hours: 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM
Boats must be off the Water: 6:30 PM
Boat Launch Area is Open: 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available
Last Plant: 1,080 lbs. of catchable trout and 120 lbs. of Trophy Trout from Mt. Lassen on April 30th. Water Temperature: 68 degrees
The trout bite has been good and there was very good action from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area the Pines and across the other side at Sandy Point, Graveyard Cove in Scow Canyon and the shoreline area at the Boat Launch as well.
PowerBait has been working for the trout such as Rainbow, Chartreuse and Spring Green. Don't forget they also like Mice-Tails, inflated nightcrawlers, Broken-Back Fire-Tiger, Panther Martins and Clowns.
Bass fishermen have been successful with Drop-shots, Top Water lures and Chatter baits. Catfish are biting on nightcrawlers, Anchovies and Shrimp by the Boat Lauch shoreline area.
