Mountain Hardware & Sports
At Donner Lake, the lake levels are starting to recede, but the boat ramp is still working fine. Remember, there is a launch fee and needed inspections to access this lake, self-pay at the kiosk. Anglers will currently find a decent mackinaw bite on smaller fish in 100 feet of water, but this may change soon. The last of the catchable kokanee are in Donner Lake and it should hold up for a few more weeks until they turn. Kokanee anglers should get out here while they can. Donner Lake is currently at 77% capacity.
